It’s pretty quiet around here… errily so almost. Calls have been slow this week for Steve.. I dont think he’s done one since monday. Nothing big with the Things. Thing One is excited to go see her Mom this weekend. She hasnt seen her in a few weeks between illness and her trip to Mauldin for Teen Talent.

Thing Two has KNO at the church friday night.. so maybe I will get Steven to take me somewhere fun.  I would take Thing Two to see Horton  hears a who.. but Thing One really wants to go see it too. ( I love that at 13 she still likes fun movies) And Id feel guilty going with out her. Its always a struggle when she goes to her mom’s. Do we save all the fun stuff for when she is here? I try and do something fun with the little one just because its not fair that every other weekend is boring for her just because her sister is gone. And doing fun stuff of her own with her Mom and her family.

The weather is slowing warming up.. more and more wildlife is showing itself around the place. I love that. I am ready for pool weather.. but not the hot that follows it. Give me May and early June over july-october. YICK.

I am working on a crochet project again. Its been a while since I did one.. in fact I still need to mail the one that I did for Lisa’s neice months ago. Im bad about that. I get projects finished and they lay unmailed until the baby is in college. I did mail off birthday presents for my neices in Alaska the other day. YAY ME. Thier birthday’s are both in March, so I try and mail a package sometime mid-march for them. That way they get it in time for sure.

ANYWHO. I am making a crib blanket for my cousin Tracy’s new baby girl expected in April. We havent spoken in years, but we were close growing up and I for sure want her to know that I am thinking of them. I love making presents.

Tonight, after church we plan to have dinner with our friends Jim and Zee. They have sons Thing One’s age and are super fun. Theyve also invited another family from our church that recently started coming. I am excited to get to know them too! I made a cake to take with us. Death by chocolate.  yes!
