1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?  

I cant think of anything!

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 

I didnt. I was terrible. I resolved to quit drinking regualar soda ( I am sipping a coke right now) I resolved to quit going out to eat so much (its one of my 08 resolutions) and I resolved to shop throught the year for christmas so we wouldnt be broke in January (ugh. broke broke broke.) I do have some for this year. 1. Eat out less 2. Attend Sunday School to plug into a group of friends at church. 3. Join the wellness center so Steven and I will work out.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?  

My sister-in-law presented me with a new niece. Ms Gabriella Story  

4. Did anyone close to you die?  My Uncle Keith Died in 07.

5. What countries did you visit?  USA. The farthest from home I got in 07 was to Asheville NC.

 

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? 

A baby. Or at the very least a pregnancy.

What date will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 

umm March 07 we moved into our new home.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 

Going back to school and doing really really well.

9. What was your biggest failure? 

I tend to let my kids slide on things I shouldnt. Since being consistent is the key to good parenting.. thats a pretty bad thing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? 

If you call infertility an illness. We are treating it though. Im REALLY hoping to see it “cured” in 08!!

11. What was the best thing you bought? 

Stuff for our home.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

My sister is doing really well. I am so proud of her for sticking it out when coming home would have been the easy thing. For admitting when she needs help and for following through on what the Dr said. YAY TINA!!!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

ugh. I am still amazed that Jasmin’s biological mom doesnt pay her child support… that she just doesnt consider the upkeep of her child a priority.. yet she spend money on crazy things like getting her nails done and cell phones.

14. Where did most of your money go? 

Bills.. Thing Two grew 2 whole clothes sizes this summer.. Thing One went through 3 shoe sizes in 07.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?  

 

Working on having a baby.. talking about taking the fam to Alaska in 08. Making some great new friends via the internet :) 

16. What song will always remind you of 2007? 

Anything HSM2. We listen to that soundtrack ALL DAY EVERY DAY. ugh.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:? a) happier or sadder? ?b) thinner or fatter? ?c) richer or poorer?  a. Happier b. about the same, maybe a tiny bit thinner c. richer.. steven started a GREAT new job and we dont have to pay for a 60 mile commute anymore.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?  Save money, exercise

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?  worry.

20. How did you spend Christmas?  With the best family and the love of my life!

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?  Every single day! More than yesterday, less than tommorow.

22. What was your favorite TV program?  

 Grey’s Anatomy, DOG the Bounty Hunter, Iron Chef America 

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?   I only hate the devil

 

24. What was the best book you read? 

The Seeress of Kell (again) By David Eddings.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? 

Michael Buble, Igrid Michaelson

 

26. What did you want and get? 

A new Digital camera for Steven. I ws SORT of responsible for the demise of our beloved old one.

27. What did you want and not get? 

A kitchen Aid mixer.. MAN I want one of those.

28. What was your favorite film of this year? 

Ratatouille

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 

We took our kids and my Aunt Carrie the beach. I was 31 on June 16.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?  

To have gotten pregnant.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? 

YOGA PANTS. lol I wear them ALL THE TIME. And I noticed last night as I was looking over my wardrobe. (planning for trips ahead in 08 YAY YAY YAY) I wear all kinds of turquoise and aqua. I have TONS of it in my wardrobe.

32. What kept you sane?

My sweet Steven, he is the best thing in my life. My girls. They are becoming such wonderful women. I couldnt ask for better kids. My family. They are the best ever. I am so spoiled to have such a great fam.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? 

Rachael Ray did a GREAT job this year.

34. What political issue stirred you the most? 

I am pretty worried about the war in Iraq. It seems to be such a huge mess. And I am having trouble seeing our way out of it!

35. Who did you miss?  My sister. Alaska is WAY to far away. Having a cell phone with free nights and weekends helps. We can talk any time we want.. but its not the same as a hug or just exisiting in the same place.My girlfriends there too.. I am SO SO SO looking forward to just being in the same room with them.

 

36. Who was the best new person you met?  I havent officially MET them yet.. but hope to spend some REAL time with Lisa and Shannon this year!

The small details arent as important as I feel they are.
